Kalaheo Inn

I rented five units for my family and I this past weekend. Super clean, and rooms are provided with everything you'd need. Units were all connected, so each family still had their own privacy while still being able to stay connected. I highly recommend. Family owned and operated, and super nice. Already looking forward to our next family trip to Kauai. Mahalo,. Cherene!!!

Wonderful old school Inn!!! The suite was clean and spacious. The bed comfy cozy. The shower is a small size but the water pressure is the best on island I have found. The Inn is so very comfortable as it captures all the tradewinds. Easy walking distance to about 5 restaurants. The owners are very kind and dedicated to the Inn.

Very quiet, older inn. Rooms have ceiling fans, no AC. It rained softly off & on with some cool breezes so it was perfectly comfortable. Shower was small but had very good water pressure. Queen size bed was comfy cozy.We had a cute outside sitting area to enjoy a cocktail in the sweet smelling air. Grounds were very well manicured & naturally beautiful. Perfect location with lots of good restaurants around the area.

Cherene and her Marilyn are some of the nicest people I have met and they made my stay at Kalaeo Inn an amazing experience!!! Come visit this place in beautiful Kalaheo Kauai!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at Kalaheo Inn. It is very spacious. The staff is incredibly friendly. It is a very simple Inn. It had a kitchen, a very comfortable bed, they have quiet hours from 8pm - 8am. It's connected to a steak house, and is on the same road as Kauai Kookie. It was perfect for my husband and I. Things to take into consideration: There is no Air Conditioning. And to be fair, generally in Hawaii, most homes do not have AC. They do have several fans, and that did the trick for us. If you're looking for a Hotel/Resort experience, this probably isn't your place. However, if you want a more local feel to your trip, or if you are spending more time adventuring then staying in your room, it was perfect. It is very affordable for its location, would stay here again.

We originally stayed here because cost was several hundred less than the cheapest air bnb..We rented the 2 bedroom which was like a small apartment. It had everything we needed there was even a cookrop and oven and fridge. It seems like more of a long term stay for those that don't want to be in debt years from a vacation. There was toilet paper and even a can of lysol spray..soap shampoos and conditioner..don't underestimate the value of having cooking and fridge you can easily spend $ 100 a day eating out on this island. The apartment is something you could live in as it is spacious. The drawbacks for some could be this is not a tourist area. You need a car Poipu is a 15 min drive and grocery store is 5 minutes. This is not the place to party quite hours are 8pm to 8am. You would hear everything so I'm glad they have that rule and while we were here we did not have that problem. This is not a luxury resort it was clean and front desk is awesome and helpful. Lots of roosters crowing which we like

Kalaheo Inn is the best! Friendly folks. Clean comfortable rooms with island style living. No canned air needed, just the cool mountain breeze. There’s a nice garden area with bbq grill. Private laundry as well. Awesome coffee and chow at the Kalaheo Cafe around the corner. The Inn isn’t one of your cookie cutter stacked and packed tourist hotels. Just one step off the highway and a short drive to west side beaches. Kukuiolono Park & Golf Course two blocks up the street for amazing sunrises AND sunsets. I’ve been coming over from the mainland several times every year for work and play since 2007, and stayed at a lot of places from Kapaa to Waimea. This is my No. 1 favorite. Mahalo Kalaheo Inn!

I just head diner in the steakhouse. The place was a recommendation by my Airbnb host Sheila. I had a filet mignon - delicious. Among the best I had in my life. The peach cheesecake...wow. I highly recommend to come here!
